CONTRACT SPECIALIST

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in Business/Engineering. Master’s degree in Law/Business/Engineering would be a plus

-Advances computer skills (the Microsoft Office applications and the internet)

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

-Basic awareness of contract law and related legal concepts including practical application in a business environment, in particular, upstream oil and gas operations.

-Detailed oriented and result focused

-Ability to work independently and make decisions

-Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

-Ability to think analytically and creatively

-Strong negotiating skills

-Ability to travel

-2-4 years of relevant work experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably in contract review and negotiation or related legal or commercial background
