Major Heavy Industry Group of Companies in Malaysia seeking Indonesian shipbuilder professional to join their them for their Shipyards in Malaysia & Africa. Currently we are looking for the following positions:

MANAGER / ASSISTANT MANAGER – OUTFITTING & FURNISHING
The Job:
- Manage a team of technical experts in Naval Architecture / Hull & Outfits discipline.
- Monitor, review and update of various technical, class rules and regulations documentation pertaining to Naval Architectural / Hull & Outfits.
- Manage and monitor the selection of new procurement for hardware and software required for the design works, inclusive upkeep and upgrading.
- Manage and review the conceptual and detail design calculation, drawing and documentation for building contracts usage pertaining to hull forms, structures, outfitting and furnishings.
- Maintain and update controlling and coordination of weight estimates and progress in ensuring stability and vessel performance within development of general arrangement plan and outfits.

Requirements:
- Degree in Naval Architecture or the equivalent.
- Minimum 7 years related working experience in naval/maritime industry in naval architecture/marine system for naval or commercial vessel.
- A Professional Engineer, member of IEM or the equivalent would have an added advantage.
- Able to formulate, design and implement technical specifications for system and equipment under naval architecture/hull & outfits discipline.

MANAGER / ASSISTANT MANAGER – PROPULSION & GENSET
The Job:
- Manage a team of technical experts responsible under the Marine/Mechanical Engineering discipline.
- Monitor, review and update various technical, class rules and regulations documents compilation pertaining to marine/mechanical equipment and system.
- Manage and monitor the selection of new procurement for hardware and software required for the design works, inclusive the upkeep and upgrading.
- Manage and monitor the conceptual and detail design drawing and documentation production progress and required technical variation for implemented building contracts.

Requirements:
- Degree in Marine/Mechanical Engineering or the equivalent.
- Minimum 7 years related working experience in naval/maritime industry in marine/mechanical system for naval or commercial vessel.
- A professional Engineer, member of IEM or the equivalent would have an added advantage.
- Able to formulate, design and implement technical specifications for system and equipment under marine/mechanical discipline.

SUPERVISOR – HULL – Reporting to Project Manager and HOD.
The Job:
- Supervising and reporting of Structural Hull fabrication and erection works for the Project.
- Monitoring, Supervising and controlling of manpower and resources for the work to ensure project is delivered on schedule with the required quality and safety.
- Planning of works including fabrication and erection method and sequence, facilities required, manpower and schedule.
- Up-keeping of safety for project & yard.
- Resolving site technical issues.
- Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the HOD.

Requirements:
Academic Qualification
- Highschool/GCE or equivalent
- Preference : Certificate from Polytechnic or technical collage.

Working Experience
- Minimum 5 years in Shipbuilding with 2-3 years experience in supervisory level.
Skill and Knowledge
- Well verse in various welding methods and NDT requirements.
- Able to read technical drawings.
- Conversant in Shipbuilding methods of Construction.

SUPERVISOR – PIPING/MECH.- Reporting to the Project Manager and HOD.
The Job:
- Supervising and reporting of piping/mech. fabrication, installation and testing works for project.
- Monitoring, supervising and controlling of manpower and resources for works to ensure project is delivered on schedule with required quality and safety.
- Planning of works including fabrication and installation sequence, facilities required, materials, manpower and schedule.
- Up-keeping of safety for project and yard.
- Resolving site technical issue.
- Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the HOD.

Requirements:
Academic Qualification
- Highschool/GCE or equivalent
- Preference : Certificate from Polytechnic or technical collage.
Working Experience
- Minimum 5 years in Shipbuilding with 2-3 years experience in supervisory level.
Skill and Knowledge
- Well verse in various welding method for various piping code requirements.
- Able to read technical drawings.
- Experience in HVAC installation an added advantage.

SENIOR ENGINEER – ELECTRICAL/INSTRUMENT
Reporting to the Head of Engineering department.
The Job:
- Review contract documents, specifications, code and class requirements for E/I requirements.
- Perform MTO, TBE, STQ, etc.
- Monitor/review E/I shop drawing production.
- Liaise with client discipline engineer, consultant, third party and sub-contractor during fabrication stage.
- Attend factory inspection of E/I equipments if required.
- Assist in commissioning of E/I equipment during fabrication, HAT and SAT.
- Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the HOD.

Requirements:
Academic Qualification
- Degree in Electrical/Instrumentation from recognised university. Working Experience
- Minimum 8 years in Shipbuilding with minimum 5 years in design or drawing office.
Skill and Knowledge
- Computer knowledge required.
- Conversant in different code requirements for electrical/instrument works.

WELDING ENGINEER – Reporting to QA/QC Manager
The Job:
- Responsible for developing welding procedures.
- Conduct welding procedure qualification test and arrange qualification of welders as per approved WPS.
- Prepare welding sequence and welder performance for projects.
- Attend to welding quality and take corrective active where necessary.
- Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by HOD.

Requirements:
Academic Qualification
- Degree in Engineering and related trade field.
Working Experience
- Minimum 5 years working experience and 3 years as welding engineer.
Skill and Knowledge
- Good knowledge in welding related activities.
- Conversant in codes and standard requirements for welding.

ELECTRICAL/INSTRUMENT COMMISSIONING ENGINEER
Reporting to QA/QC Manager
The Job:-
- Preparation of procedures, overview, tools and test equipments for the testing and commissioning of all E/I equipments for the project.
- Attend FAT for major equipments as required.
- Attend to inspection/verification of E/I equipments received and ensure acceptable as per requirements.
- Attend to the HAT and SAT of all E/I equipments and system.
- Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the HOD.

Requirements:
Academic Qualification
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Instrumentation or equivalent. Working Experience
- Minimum 3 years in shipbuilding industry for Degree holder and 5 years in Shipbuilding industry for Diploma holder.
Skill and Knowledge
- Familiar with power generation and system control. Conversant in testing and Commissioning of ship’s equipment.

PIPING/MECHANICAL COMMISSIONING ENGINEER
Reporting to QA/QC Manager
The Job:-
- Preparation of procedures, overview, tools and testing equipments for testing and commissioning of all piping and mechanical equipments for the project.
- Attend FAT for major equipments as required.
- Attend to inspection/verification of piping/mechanical equipments received and ensure acceptable as per requirements.
- Attend to HAT and SAT of all piping/mechanical equipments and systems during test and trial.
- Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the HOD.

Requirements:
Academic Qualification
- Degree/Diploma in Piping/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Working Experience
- Minimum 3 years in shipbuilding industry for Degree holder and 5 years in shipbuilding industry for Diploma holder.
Skill and Knowledge
- Familiar with ship’s piping and mechanical equipment system. Conversant in testing and commissioning of ship’s piping and mechanical system.

STRUCTURAL/HULL INSPECTOR
Reporting to QA/QC Manager
The Job:-
- Conduct quality control surveillance on all structural/hull fabrication work.
- Conduct inspections in accordance with project requirements.
- Perform dimensional checks.
- Conduct welders qualification test as and when required.
- Prepare and maintain good inspection reports.
- Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by HOD.

Requirements:
Academic Qualification
- high school/GCE or equivalent.
- Preference : Certificate of confirmity as structural/welding inspector. Working Experience
- Minimum 5 years in shipbuilding industry with 3 years minimum as structural or welding inspector.
Skill and Knowledge
- Good knowledge is steel structural welding work.
- Conversant in codes and standards.

PIPING/MECHANICAL INSPECTOR
Reporting to QA/QC Manager
The Job:
- Conduct quality control surveillance on all piping/mechanical fabrication
work.
- Conduct inspections in accordance with project requirements.
- Perform dimensional checks.
- Conduct welders qualification test as and when required.
- Prepare and maintain good inspection reports.
- Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by HOD.

Requirements:
Academic Qualification
- Highschool/GCE or equivalent
- Preference : Certificate of conformity as Piping/Mechanical Inspector
Working Experience
- Minimum 5 years in shipbuilding industry with 3 years minimum as piping/mechanical Inspector.
Skill and Knowledge
- Good knowledge in Piping/Mechanical work.
- Conversant in codes and standards.

BLASTING/PAITING INSPECTOR
Reporting to QA/QC Manager
The Job:-
- Conduct quality control surveillance on blasting and painting work.
- Perform blasting and painting inspections with clients.
- Conduct paint test panels for project as and when required.
- Prepare and maintain good inspection reports.
- Any other duties and responsiblities as assigned by HOD.

Requirements:
Academic Qualification
- Highschool/GCE or equivalent.
- Preference : Certificate of Polytechnic or technical college or qualified coating inspection certification.
Working Experience
- Minimum 5 years in shipbuilding industry with 3 years minimum as blasting/painting inspector.
Skill and Knowledge
- Good knowledge of all aspects of blasting and blasting/painting work.

Electronic Combat Management System Specialist
Requirements:
- At least 5 years experience in Combat Management System maintenance
- Knowledge of Ethernet networks, operating systems, signal measurement, navigation systems, processing of radar and sonar signals, sonar, underwater telephone and interceptors, ESM and IFF radar, radio transmission/reception,
torpedoes and missiles, electronic sensors

Opto –Electronic Specialist
Requirements:
- At least 10 years experience in Opto-electronic equipment maintenance on-board warships
- Skill in Quality Assurance
- Skill in Health and Safety rules

Masts /Weapons Specialist
Requirements:
- At least 5 years experience in mechanical maintenance on-board ships
- Basic knowledge of piping construction, electricity, automation and handling,

Gun /Small Arms Specialist
Requirements:
- At least 5 years experience in maintenance of Small arms/Gun for warship or paramilitary equipment.
- Basic knowledge of automation and handling,

Surveillance, Radar & Sensor System Specialist
Requirements:
- At least 5 years experience in Surveillance, Radar & Sensor System maintenance
- Knowledge of Ethernet networks, operating systems, signal measurement, navigation systems, processing of radar and sonar signals, sonar, underwater telephone and interceptors, ESM and IFF radar, radio transmission/reception,
torpedoes and missiles, electronic sensors

Submarine Support Manager
Requirements:
- At least 5 year experience in the fields of electricity, piping, hydraulics/fluids.
- General knowledge of warships
- Team management; supplier/customer relationships
- Knowledge of safety regulations
- Knowledge of electricity
- Out gassing risks experience (asphyxia, poisoning, explosion).
- Dangerous products identification, codification and elimination rules

General requirements:
- Minimum Education: Polytechnic or Advance Diploma.
- Fluent in English Language
- Skilled in basic software tools
- Preferably experience in Naval or Paramilitary Shipyard
